The first reason that someone should attend UHD is that it is in the downtown area of Houston, near all of the major highways. This provides easy access to the school. The second reason is, if a person is working-class, UHD has hours to accommodate that individual so that they can still further their education. The third reason that someone should attend UHD is that it has a wide range of degree majors. It is very important to have choices.

The University of Houston Downton has various reasons as to why someone should attend it. The metro rails are right in front of the school, so you can avoid the morning traffic of Houston. The university is obviously in Downton, so there is tone of places to explore and restaurants to try. However, most importantly, classes are walk distance, with the university having three buildings each one is approximately five minutes apart.

1- Affordability - the cost is slightly above the cost of the area community college 2- Accessibility - the school offers online degree plans, night and weekend classes, and campuses across town to allow for accessibility to most people. 3- Diversity - the diversity among the students and staff is second to none. I can honestly say my professors have been leaps and bounds above the community college professors. Most of my professors have been successful in their field before deciding to teach and are amazingly helpful in applying the subject to real world applications. My classmates have come from all over the world and all walks of life and have allowed me to work with amazing people.

I chose UHD because it is less crowded and the classes are smaller to me this is one of the best reasons to attend. I like the relationships that are able to form between the students and teachers in smaller classes. Secondly I like that UHD has a satellite in Kingwood and Clearlake! This makes the drive so much easier for those of us who live outside of Houston! And Lastly the staff at UHD is phenomenal!
