There is no type of person who should attend GCU. Although we take pride in being a Christian based college, we don't slam the door the door in anyone's face. There are so many personalities they are around at GCU, its hard to directly say "only these people may go here". Academically, a GCU student should be focused. Although the faculty cares about you, they will still give you a grade just like everyone else so lacking off isn't the best idea. Socially, Grand Canyon University is very diverse and there is never at time where you won't meet someone knew.

A person that attends GCU was probably actively involved in Church or youth group as a high school students. Grand Canyon isn't a traditional college and if your goal is to party and drink in college it definitely is not the place for you. People that should attend GCU are highly creative students who love meeting new people and have a passion for Christianity.

The type of student that should attend Grand Canyon University would be a Christian who is truly involved with Christ. GCU is a Christian school, although it is not forcefully Christian, professors do practice their beliefs in class which makes the class more entertaining because it provides a relatable atmosphere. There are plenty of Nursing and Business majors available and GCU's programs are only expanding to provide the best service available. They also have plenty of people going towards criminal justice, and it is nice to meet people with different majors as well as one like yours.

Trying to describe the typical Grand Canyon University student in high school is quite difficult because the school is so full of unique individuals who all have different qualities, desires, goals, personalities, and ambitions. They all come together to create a community of diverse people and personalities. If I had to describe qualities that typical students at GCU possessed during high school, I would have to say that they would worked toward achieving good grades, been involved in their community and church, and were not into the party scene (GCU has a no alcohol policy). Students who wish to focus on school and get a great education, create lasting friendships, be a part of a college community, and grow in their Christian walk, should consider attending GCU.

The type of person that should attend GCU is someone who is willing to put in the effort to complete their degree. You should be willing to work with other people, discuss topics that are not always aligned with your beliefs, and you should be able to clearly see your goals so that you do not lose faith during the process of your degree.

This a smaller school so if you like the atmosphere of a larger school, maybe look somewhere else. I think that this school offers many different aspects of life if you want a Christian experience we have that. Although this is a Christian School that isn't all it is about. The campus is very tight knit and when you walk down to class you're probably going to see someone you know. This school is for someone who likes the thought of a close community of people.

The typical Grand Canyon University students is not so typical anymore. In fact, the qualities of a student in GCU is simply an honorable individual. Personally, I believe that an individual who considers Grand Canyon as their college, they must be connected with their love for their religion because this is a Christian college. Also, I believe that the individual must have the desire to achieve his or her personal goals through education and the willingness to keep pushing forward.

The perfect personality will be a really outgoing person; everyone here is really polite and nice, with no ashame of talk to you during an event or in class. Everyone is open-minded, or at least everyone I have meet here. What I like about GCU is that even though this is a Christian University, no one will bother you if you are not. GCU offers a lot of opportunities to get to know God, but if you don't want to, they will not force you to nothing.

A typical Grand Canyon University student is one that accepts all types of people. We also like to focus on being Christ-like towards other people. Everyone is kind and willing to help other people and we want to do well in our academics to succeed in the real world once we graduate.

A lot of the students at GCU seem like they were the popular, preppy type in high school. There is still a wide variety of people, though, and you can find your niche if you look hard enough. The classes are fairly simple too, at least from my experience, so you don't have to be incredibly smart to succeed.

Grand Canyon University is a private school with a Christian worldview - I would say a typical potential Grand Canyon University student is Christian (believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior; God is the Father & in the Holy Trinity). A person that wants to establish/continue a profound relationship with Christ while finding their purpose (as in lifestyle, career, etc.) and fellowship with other believers should attend GCU.
