The University of South Dakota promotes academic excellence, community involvement, and personal well-being. These are three reasons that make it a great campus. Students should attend the University of South Dakota because they will be encouraged to reach academic greatness, be involved in many activities on and off campus, and to keep themselves healthy and active.

The university of South Dakota is diverse, and there are many excellent programs that students may enter into. The campus is beautiful and the education is phenomenal. Finally, the University of South Dakota provides students with a genuine and useful education at an affordable cost. Many colleges cause students to create a hole of debt that is impossible to climb out of, but USD will allow that student to quickly pay off any loans and have a wonderful life following the career path chosen.

One of the top reasons to attend the University of South Dakota is that it's a quality education for a reasonable price. I know so many people that come out of state to attend USD, because it's cheaper than their home state's universities. However, just because it's cheaper doesn't mean the quality of education suffers. USD has produced many great graduates; in the field of journalism alone Al Neuharth and Tom Brokaw are both USD graduates. Another top reason to attend USD is, it just feels like home. Vermillion, SD is a small town with a big education. Even though USD is a NCAA D1 school, you never feel like just a number like at other big universities. There's plenty to do in Vermillion, SD but if you're looking for something the town doesn't have to offer Sioux Falls, SD is only 45 minutes away and Omaha, NE is a quick 2 1/2 hour drive.

USD has a fantastic atmosphere. The students and faculty are all generally kind and willing to lend you a hand. Also, there are plenty of extracurricular opportunities you can enjoy, from joining a sorority to studying in another country for a semester. A third reason is that USD is the perfect size; not too big or too small. It's neither lonely nor overcrowded.

The price is right. I am an out of state student and pay less at USD than I would have at an instate school. The professors are great and helpful and everyone is really friendly. It feels like home.

If a person does not like living in big cities, Vermillion in a pretty small small town and should make them feel at ease. USD has smaller classes and thus students have a better chance of getting to know their professors which is helpful should you need references. Less expensive tuition.

1) The University of South Dakota is affiliated with the University Center in Sioux Falls. It allows for non-traditional students to take classes in Sioux Falls to pursue a degree while working. 2)They offer a large amount of long-distance learning opportunities in the form of online classes. 3) All the the University instructors that I have met seem to truly enjoy what they do and demonstrate a strong ability to teach the subject in a way that students actually learn the information.

One reason is that our campus is so beautiful. We have historical buildings mixed in with new, renovated buildings. The campus just has so many different things about it that makes it unique. Another reason for someone to attend the University of South Dakota, is everyone is so friendly. The teachers do everything they can to help students out and the students are nice to everyone. Like I said before, everyone says hi to everyone. I could start a conversation while walking to class, with someone I didn't know and not feel awkward at all because that is what the students do on campus. Last but not least, a great reason to come to the U is that our university has it all. We have wonderful teachers, friendly students, great fan base for our Coyotes, and so many things to do.

1.) They have great programs. They have a good law program, and they are good in science. 2.) It is a smaller school, so the teachers afford more time with students. They will try to help students out however they can. 3.) There is a wide variety of fun activities that students can enjoy. This includes the tallest rock climbing wall in South Dakota.

The University of South Dakota is a good sized campus, you can walk everywhere you need to go and not be late for class, there aren't too many students, at about 11,000 students it is easy to find some good friends, and its a good small town feel.

Reason number one would be that they are looking for a place to branch out and learn to be more outgoing. Here at USD, us students are forced out of our comfort zone but it is all worth it. Number two would be if they want a good education. The teachers here are great and very helpful. The last reason would be if they are looking for a school that it small. The classes are relatively small and it is pretty nice for me considering I grew up in a small town.
