There are a few online review sites which gather information on student experiences. These are especially helpful when it's hard to get in touch with alumni and currently enrolled students.
Here are some reviews of this school. These reviews may help paint a picture of what going to this school might be like.
"My son just finished his freshman year at CHS, and we couldn't be more pleased. Beginning high school was a very difficult transition for him due to a mild learning disability, and the entire staff worked incredibly hard to accommodate his needs. I truly believe they went above and beyond to help him succeed and that this school actually cares about their students. The AME program, (Academy of Media and Entertainment), provides a unique environment that stimulates creativity and critical thinking. The students are friendly and there is a spirit of helpfulness there. We feel so blessed to be a part of this community and look forward to the coming years."
"Calabasas is one of the worst schools ever. If there were stars above that allowed me to press NONE, then that's what my rating would be. We transferred through an interdisrict permit because we thought it was a good school. Unfortunately, it was a nightmare. The teachers were uncaring and very rude, even to the parents. The teachers were not welcoming at all. The students are disrespectful. The football team has horrible language and are disrespectful and prejudice. The staff ignores a lot that goes on at the school. The school has lots of bullies. The principal claims to not allow bullying, but that's a lie. They want to make it seem as if Calabasas is a great school, but it has a lot to be desired. The parents obviously do not parent. The experience at this school was a daily nightmare. Don't send your children to this school. The parents of the football players are uninvolved. They just want to drop them off and run as fast as they can. The school is always asking for money for everything. It's awful. I wouldn't send my dog to this school ever in life."
