What's the 5C consortium like? How does it work with all the schools? What sort of things are good about it?

The Consortium acts as a supporting organization to the 5 Claremont undergraduate colleges: CMC, Scripps, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, and Pomona . It also supports the two graduate programs located in Claremont.

It provides and manages shared resources like libraries, health services, a book store, mail and other services. The consortium, by handling operational duties around these services, lets the small schools focus on their students, professors, and communities. This means each school, even though they are all located right next to each other, has a particular character that's shared by the student body and community at large.
