St. Nicholas Academy is a Catholic Elementary School within the Archdiocese of Louisville. St. Nicholas was created in 2005 by the merger of Most Blessed Sacrament School, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Sts. Simon & Jude School, and St. Thomas More School. St. Nicholas Academy has two campuses. Each campus serves grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. St. Nicholas Academy' curriculum is designed to attain the educational objectives set forth in our philosophy and in accordance with the regulations set by the Office of Lifelong Formation and Education of the Archdiocese of Louisville. The curriculum is supported and implemented by an excellent faculty and staff. All teachers at Snull meet state requirements for certification. Textbooks used are on the adoption lists approved by the Archdiocese and state. Textbooks are reviewed and updated according to the established adoption cycle.
