St. Andrew Academy was established in 2005 following the regionalization of three parish schools in Southwest Jefferson County. The three parish schools that united to combine St. Andrew were Our Lady of Consolation, St. Clement and St. Polycarp. Each parish is represented on the Board of Directors of St. Andrew Academy. St. Andrew Academy is a private Catholic school in Southwest Louisville for boys and girls in grades Pre-K through 8. We strive to provide a superior, Christ-centered educational experience that allows our students to attain their full intellectual, cultural and spiritual maturity, while preparing them for a life of service in the modern world. St. Andrew Academy’s mission is to assure the education of the whole child in a school where faith and friends grow together.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
