Hudson High School of Learning Technologies's Full Profile
Hudson High School of Learning Technologies says
Hudson High School of Learning Technologies is an iZone school, and is partnered with the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA). Hudson is configured as a 1:1 laptop environment sustaining our blended learning model, which we define as a hybrid of proven inquiry-based, face-to-face practices that are student-centered, personalized and supported by school-wide access to information and communication sources. All of our school resources are digital. Hudson is also a Google Apps school. Our school offers an academically challenging learning environment that helps students develop college-level skills with academic, social and emotional support from our team of teachers and counselors.
Hudson High School of Learning Technologies follows the New York City Department of Education calendar school year which can be found at www.nyc.gov/schools. Our core classes are scheduled in rotating blocks. We offer support and enrichment classes before and after school. Students can access personalized online digital course work (iLearn), as an extension of their classwork, for remediation or to earn additional credit. Advisory and Drop Everything & Read (DEAR) form a solid foundation for our work. College Now courses through The City University of New York (CUNY) will be offered in the fall of 2013.
