Mission Statement

The mission of AALC is to provide each student an individualized education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Some students need an alternative learning environment to that which is provided in the public schools, in order to thrive. Our philosophy at AALC is based on the principle that all students have the capacity to be successful if they are placed in a learning environment that is right for them.

Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
