Jim Elliot Christian School's Full Profile

Jim Elliot Christian School says

JECS faithfully serves grades 6-12 in both full time and part time programs. JECS is a distinctly Christian learning environment that encourages critical thinking skills within a biblical framework. We believe that learning should be personalized to the fullest extent possible, reflecting the status of each child as a unique "image-bearer" of God. JECS is commitment to integrating biblical truth into each subject and discipline. Our Christian Formation classes help disciple students to grow in their relationship with God through the study and application of His word in every aspect of life - mind, heart, and will. Spiritual growth is augmented through chapel services, service days, retreats, and a senior mission project. During Service Days our students and teachers serve together alongside Denver-area ministries. Some of our local projects have included: Operation Christmas Child, World Vision, Food Bank of the Rockies, Kingdom Building Ministries, and local churches. JECS prepares students not only for college but for all aspects of life to walk with the Lord in school and beyond, engaging the culrture and serving God wherever He leads them.

Mission Statement

Jim Elliot Christian School is a broadly evangelical learning community, partnering with parents to inspire young Chrisitans to grow in passion for God and His work in the world, fostering a Biblical worldview and lifelong commitment to Christ in a relational, mentor-based environment.
