Merin brings 11+ years of experience in digital media, storytelling, and brand communications to Noodle.
She earned her BA from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she was one of six students selected to represent the entire School of the Arts at Tasmeem Doha, an international design conference in Qatar. She enjoys good books and bad TV.
John Katzman is an American entrepreneur and education evangelist. He founded The Noodle Companies in 2012 with the mission of increasing transparency and efficiency across the education landscape.
For 38 years, Katzman has been a pioneer of innovation in the American educational system. In 1981, he founded and ran The Princeton Review, which helped half of the students applying to U.S. colleges and universities each year find, get into, and pay for school. In 2008, Katzman founded 2U (NASDAQ: TWOU), an educational tech company that builds and runs high-quality online degree programs for leading nonprofit colleges and universities. Under his lead, 2U was named among the “10 Start-Ups Changing the World” by Forbes and is now a $4 billion firm.
Katzman serves on several boards of directors, including Renaissance Learning, the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. He has authored many articles and five books.

As a Product Manager, John Lockwood helps Noodle deliver more efficient and personalized ways to search for school. Prior to joining the company, he led the strategy practice at Proverb, a Boston-based branding and design agency, and worked in the creative department of Ogilvy & Mather.
He is a graduate of Trinity College and a current MBA candidate at Babson College. John’s love of travel and the outdoors has led him to explore some of the most remote areas of the world, including the Indian Himalayas, the Chilean Patagonia, and New Zealand’s Te Araroa Trail.

Domenic brings nearly a decade of experience in performance marketing and higher education to Noodle. Prior to joining the team, Domenic worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, The CollegeBound Network, and QuinStreet; in his four years with QuinStreet, he helped lead QuinStreet’s non-profit Schools division in addition to developing multiple major media partnerships.
Domenic earned a BS in finance and economics from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, collecting French and Italian wine, and cooking.

Samantha joins Noodle after four years with MyWebGrocer, where she built integrated media strategies, managed campaign execution across all paid media channels and tactics, and led vendor relationships with key partners.
Samantha earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and sociology from Keene State College. She was born and raised in Massachusetts, and enjoys spending her weekends exploring New England with her friends and family.
Greg O’Brien joined Noodle at the end of 2017 to help dramatically reinvent the model and recruit a team that could execute an enhanced vision. Greg joins from Noodle Partners, where he was the founding board member and Chief Operating Officer. He previously ran the education practice at QuinStreet (NASDAQ: QNST) and was CEO of CollegeBound. Prior to these operating roles, Greg ran the Education & Marketing practice at boutique investment bank McFarland Dewey. He is also a faculty member at Harvard University Extension School and Boston College, where he teaches digital marketing.
Greg earned a BS from Cornell University, and an MBA from New York University.

Catherine runs the engineering team at Noodle. She joined Noodle after over 15 years in engineering, largely focusing on web-based software and content management in industries as varied as healthcare IT, grassroots fundraising, and marketing adtech.
Prior to Noodle, Catherine ran a consulting firm specializing in building teams for development, support and service delivery, with clients ranging from startups to multi-million dollar companies.
Catherine holds a degree from UC Berkeley.

Oliver manages paid digital media efforts and allocation across various social media platforms. In his 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, Oliver has managed clients across higher education, B2B, and the auto industry — with especially strong success stories in WordStream and ESM Digital.
Oliver earned his BS in Business Administration from Hartwick College, and enjoys spending time with his friends and family, skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.
