St. Joseph Academy is the oldest Catholic High School in the State of Florida. Founded in 1866 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of St Augustine, it stands on a strong Catholic foundation of educational excellence and social justice. As a Catholic high school under the auspices of the Diocese of St. Augustine, we seek to provide an equal opportunity for each student, in a challenging academic environment, to become a knowledgeable, self-directed, compassionate Christian, able to face the challenges of the future with faith, hope, and love.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
