Make your way to South Lake Union Park to meet your guide and receive a safety orientation. Beginners are welcome, so no kayak experience is required. After enjoying some complimentary cookies, fruit and pastries, hop in your kayak and follow your guide on an easy ride along Lake Union. Observe the interesting design fixtures of Gas Works Park, an old coal plant that was repurposed into a public space. Looking west you'll see the Fremont Bridge, best known for the cement troll living underneath it. Pass several houseboats including the one featured in the movie Sleepless in Seattle, and get amazing views of the Space Needle from the middle of the lake while watching and listening to the floatplanes and seaplanes take off and land nearby. Your guide will lead you back to South Lake Union Park to conclude your Seattle kayak tour.
