A student who wants to get a jump start on their future, who considers their education important yet still have fun and enjoy being a teenager. A student that considers their faith, community service and helping others as playing a key role in their lives is the type of student who would attend Carmel Catholic High School. Carmel is not just a high school and a learning institution, we are a close knit family full of sports, extracurricular activities, clubs and learning.

When I first started high school, I was very insecure and self-absorbed. I took criticism to heart, and thoughts about what other people thought of me often preoccupied my mind. After a while (maybe a couple months) I began to loosen up, and finally became less self-conscious and more academically oriented. In doing so, I made several bonds (that I treasure to this day, mind you) with students and teachers, and found myself a happier, healthier person. This is the type of student that should attend Carmel Catholic high school: confident, vivacious, and determined; yet firm in both morals and faith.

Any type of student should attend Carmel Catholic. At Carmel it is a nice community that is a mixture of all people. I think it is better to come in with not knowing a lot of people so you get the good experience of meeting all new people from all different towns. Coming in as a more outgoing and open person would get the adapting process faster, but even shy and timid people that come can still adapt to everyone.
