St. Peter Middle was established in 1987 as a result of the restructuring in the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools. Located on the northwest side of Stevens Point adjacent to St. Peter Catholic Church, St. Petes is geared for students in the middle of their educational years: 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Classes, activities and special programs are focused toward the affective and academic needs of students leaving childhood and entering adolescence.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
