Mount Michael Benedictine School is a Catholic college preparatory residential/day school for young men committed to academic excellence. The school’s mission is to integrate a life of spirituality, scholarship, and the formation of Christian Community by following the charism of the Gospels and the Rule of St. Benedict. Mount Michael seeks young men entering the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades who demonstrate:Good characterStrong academic ability and motivationDesire for independenceAbility to accept challengesCare and concern for othersCommitment to personal and academic growthEnthusiasm for participating in extracurricular activitiesWe look carefully at a student's transcript, application essays, letters of recommendation, test scores, extracurricular activities, and conduct a personal interview in order to determine which applicants stand to gain the most from - and to contribute the most to - the Mount Michael community. Because Mount Michael receives more applications from prospective students than there are spaces available, the Admission Committee is not able to accommodate all applicants who are qualified. It is important for those interested in the school to explore it fully at the earliest opportunity.
