The most popular extracurricular activities are Athletics, Band, and FFA. I would recommend joining the Rocketry team, Agricultural Identification team, and Academic rodeo team. UIL competitions are also fun.

The most popular extracurricular activity is football. Not only is this a popular sport to play, but it is the most celebrated sport at our school. Both girls and boys basketball is also popular. Because sports get the most attention at our school, the third most popular extracurricular activity is softball. In my opinion, I think the popularity of these activities is based mostly on the team's success. Although not popular, Stage Crew is an extracurricular activity I'd recommend. Members design the sets, paint the backdrop, build the props, run the sound and lighting systems, and do all the behind-the-scenes jobs during the musical/play. I think it is something everyone would enjoy, whether or not they have any prior experience. Secondly, I would recommend Art Club. It is a fun and easy-going after school activity. Lastly, I would recommend trying to qualify for National Honors Society. In order to participate, one is chosen based on several categories including GPA, Service, Scholarship, and Leadership.
