Booker T. Washington is a school that is based on academics and involvement. At Booker T. a student is usually involved in a array of advanced classes. Booker T. offers IB, AP, and Pre-Ap classes. Students tend to want to challenge themselves and take these classes. I was able to take the IB diploma program. Which meant I took eight classes for two years. All of my classes were advanced and could earn me college credit. Most students are involved in a academic path like mine. Also, a typical Booker T. student is also involved in the community and in clubs.

To be honest there is no good answer to a question such as this question. Every student at Booker T. Washington is different and unique in their own way. There are students who come from different backgrounds. There's always something new to learn. Even though Booker T. Washington High School is a historically Black school there are students who are White, Hispanic, and even Filipino. I think that the type of person who should attend Booker T. Washington High School is someone who shows that they are willing to do what is necessary for them to succeed and to graduate high school at the top of their class. Although there are a few bad apples among us we don't let that affect our learn environment. Overall Booker T. Washington High School is a terrific place to learn.
