The type of student that should not attend Penfield High School is a student that is interested in being disruptive or causing trouble in classes. Use of drugs or alcohol in school is not allowed. There are very few kids at the school that behave badly, and such behavior is not tolerated by their classmates or the administration. Other kinds of intolerance are not welcome, such as racist or derogatory remarks.

Penfield has many opportunities for students including rigorous, but interesting classes and extracurriculars, so someone who should not attend Penfield Senior High School is a student who does not invest themselves in their high school career. A student should not attend Penfield if he or she is not willing to show up to class everyday and work his or her hardest. Slacking off in a class is detrimental to ones self and also discouraging for fellow classmates and teachers. For example, it is difficult to work in a group project with a student who is not invested in the class and not willing to produce high quality work. Someone should not attend Penfield Senior High School if they are not willing to work hard everyday and take advantage of all the opportunities Penfield has to give its students.
