What exactly does an "ungraded" student? How are they incorporated into classes?

I couldn't find information on an ungraded program at Howell High School. To learn more, I recommend calling the school at (732) 919-2131. You can learn more about Howell in general by visiting its page on the district website.

Typically, ungraded schools and programs are ones in which students of different ages are mixed together. Some schools also offer non-traditional assessment for student work. You can learn a little bit more about ungraded programs on this Wikipedia page. You can also learn more about alternative schools, some of which are ungraded, by reading "The Powerful Case for Alternative High Schools".

Best of luck and if the resources I mentioned above don't help you answer your question, absolutely feel free to ask a follow up!
