Student, Colquitt County High School, Class of 2016,
Many say growing up in this small town is harsh and that everyone is so judgemental of everything you do and that they can't wait to grow up and move. I have to disagree. I really love Colquitt County and my high school. We are given so many opportunities to make something of ourselves at our highschool. The teachers really work with the students and the counselors and staff make sure to resolve any problems you may be facing and our school is all about equal opportunity. The fries at lunch aren't comparable to the salty goodness of that at Mcdonald's but the food is decent and free! I think Colquitt High is a great place to go to school. I would recommend it to anyone who asks. I intend on going away for college and coming back to raise my family in this town just because I've had such a great childhood and my school deserves much credit for that.
