Three great reasons for attending are: you are unsure what you want to study, you want to do as many prerequisite classes as possible before transferring, and for most it is close to home.

Three reasons some one should attend College of the Sequoias are, first, because its a small community campus where the student to teacher ratios are small and not over whelming for those not ready to head off to a bigger college or university. Second, its a campus where everyone is friendly I love the teachers/ staff as well. Lastly College of the Sequoias is a stepping stool for those not sure on what they want to major on yet. COS has great counselors that help you decide on what path you should take based on the information you give them.

There are no reason why people should go there. It's in Visalia so there isn't anything to do. It's an ok school to go to.

People should attend College of the Sequoias if they aren't ready for the huge transition from high school to a 4 year or 6 year school institute. In addition, the counselors are very nice and they tend to know what classes the students need; however, if they don't know, then they will do research and gather information to help the students. Lastly, College of the Sequoias is a great school for students to finish their G.E courses.

I am graduating this spring and I must admit that I eventually "have fallen in love" with my professors. Major part of them are very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, intelligent... They can make your day! The range of professions you can obtain here are endless. The most popular demands are nursing, accounting, engineering, psychology, agriculture. It's the best place to get your AA-T or AS-T on Psychology, Biology and Communications if you plan to continue your education at a 4-year college or University. Good luck!
