At creighton, there is not a "typical student". Although majority of the campus demographic is white, I believe that each student holds their own personality, thus demolishing the "typical student" classification. Here at creighton, there are students from all 50 states and numerous countries. We all have different skin colors, eye color, and hair color as well as different ages, height, personality, and background. We are a very diverse community who's purpose is to get an education in an environment that brings the best in all of us.

Creighton students are typically from the upper middle class, but there are definitely students from all backgrounds. The girls generally dress preppy, or snappy casual, but there are always the few individual leaders who wear their own creations. People who are independent, free thinking, and who are not afraid to be an individual belong at Creighton.

A typical Creighton University student is active in academics, community, and spirit. As a Jesuit school, a Creighton student isn't necessarily attending Mass on Sundays, yet understands the importance of spirit for others. Additionally, Creighton students are eager to meet people of all backgrounds. Due to an abundance of people from Hawaii, a melting pot of cultures, Creighton students easily adapt to a wide array of situations!

I am in the Adult learner program. The typical adult learner is eager to learn and has great experiences to share. Overall a Creighton student should be excited to receive a liberal arts education from a Jesuit School.

A Creighton student is a man or woman for others. A Creighton student is not only interested in growing academically, but also growing as a person who can contribute positively to society for the needs of others. Creighton students are friendly, never hesitating to lend a hand. And mostly, Creighton students are proud of their school. A Creighton student is so excited to be a member of the Bluejay family. Although I live in Arizona, far away from Creighton's home in Nebraska, I've been bombarded by exuberant Creighton alum when I wear Bluejays apparel who love to hear stories of Creighton as it is today.
When I think Creighton, many types of people come to mind. There's the naturally smart, driven people who are incredibly talented in the sciences, theres the athletes who proudly represent the school in a athletic setting. There's the future doctors, nurses, business men and women, and the students who aren't sure what they want to be yet, but with the help of our Creighton family, they know they will find their way. A Creighton student is a member of something we will take with us the rest of our lives. It's not something I can explain, believe me I've tried. But it's the feeling you get on campus, when your professors, friends, and classmates all sincerely want whats best for you- academically and personally. I am incredibly proud to be a Bluejay.

A typical Creighton student is in school not just to learn information but to also grow as an individual and advocate for justice in society. The Jesuit tradition and influence at Creighton affects every student's behaviors, demanding a high level of discipline in schoolwork, strong desire to promote and fight for justice, as well as a desire to grow in awareness of how to care for the whole person. The Jesuit values permeate student life in the interactions and trust between students and the high levels of passion students invest in all of their work.

The majority of Creighton University students are from the Midwest. It is a private school so the majority of students are from middle to upper class families. Everyone I've come to know is so down to earth and very willing to get involved with a number of things whether it's campus ministry or service.
