From my experiences as a high school students, there are many students who I firmly believe should not attend Buena Park High School. On the face of Earth, there are many children who desperately want to go to school. However, these students do not have the opportunity due to their circumstances. As a result, students who do not appreciate their education and the opportunity that they have should not attend to Buena Park High School. Most importantly, Buena Park High School operates at a very high level. Thus, students are required to be respectful, well-mannered, and hard-working. Students who do not meet these requirements should not be able to attend Buena Park High School.

The type of student that should not attend Buena Park High School is someone who got kicked out of another school, someone who thinks that they can get away with things because they think the school doesn't care, someone who is wasting their life with things they shouldn't be involved in like drugs, someone who gave up on themselves a long time ago. These people end up dropping out or going to access, but they go to Buena Park because they think they will have the easiest time getting away with things. These people are the reason we have the reputation that we do and it's really disappointing because no matter how much a student succeeds because of Buena Park and how many awards the school gets, we are still connected to people to want to come to school just to mess around. I have known students like this in Buena Park, some I have known since elementary, and it is really heartbreaking to see someone not care and throw away all the opportunities given to them. The school tries to help them, but they don't take it seriously. I know students like this to be smarter than they think they are and very talented, but they don't give themselves or others the chance to help them and that's unfortunate. If they were willing to change and try that would be a different story because that's what Buena Park tries to do for these students, but they think they are better than it all. They shouldn't come to Buena Park because they bring everyone down and don't give other people the chance to help them because their plan all along was to just give up on school.
