The Viking Volunteers Club, the Future Business Leaders of America, and the Model United Nations are all popular extracurricular clubs in the high school. I recommend attending Viking Volunteers since you are able to help out the community and receive volunteer hours while doing so.

At South Brunswick High School (SBHS), there is much diversity among the students meaning there are a great variety of extracurricular options to choose from. As a student, the three most popular activities include sports, various debate clubs (such as Model U.N. and the Junior State of America) and clubs for volunteering (such as the American Red Cross Club and Vikings Volunteer Club). Extracurricular that I would recommend to incoming and current students would be the debating clubs and to join a sports team. In fact, both of those extracurricular gain lots of attention from colleges and students involved in those types of activities are more likely to be given scholarships ranging in different amounts of money. Speaking from experience both activities are nothing but good to be a part of.

Track and Field, Future Business Leader of America club and Junior State of America club are the three most popular extracurricular activities at SBHS. Track and field is an exciting and rejuvenating sport which many kids take part in. Since it is a non-cut sport, anybody can join. Additionally it allows you to get to know more kids at the school and provides for a fun fitness environment. It also provides heated competition for those on the competitive side. Similar to that, FBLA and JSA are two major clubs that bring students together to shape the community and put it onto a path for a better future. I would recommend track and field because it is not only fun and exciting, but it also helps you stay health and create lasting friendships.

The Marching Band, the Junior State of America club, and the Model UN club are the most popular. I would recommend joining the marching band and learning how to play an instrument. For girls, I would recommend trying out for the field hockey team. I would also recommend people interested in business to try the Future Business Leaders of American club. For kids interested in science, I would recommend the Issac Newton Club. For those who like political science and debating, I would recommend JSA and Model UN clubs.
