Student, St Mary's Academy, Class of 2016,
The three most popular extracurricular activities at St. Mary's Academy are the Associated Student Body (A.S.B.) Board, Junior Statesmen of America, and the Robotics Club. Although there are several other clubs and organizations on campus, I highly recommend these three. The A.S.B. Board works closely with the administration, faculty, Board of Trustees, donors and parents. It represents the student body, organizes large assembles, and assists in the coordination of mass. Junior States of America is a nationally recognized civic engagement organization that provides an opportunity to learn about the United States political and party system, current world issues, Federal policies and how it impacts us. It also provides a venue for debate and mock campaign elections. The robotics team closely tied to our Engineering Program and sponsored by Raytheon recently placed as a finalist in our last competition. St. Mary's Academy is the only all girls school in the competitions.
