The typical Cornell student exhibits both the academic determination that one would expect to find at an Ivy League and a surprising amount of other unique talents that are hard to pin down, ranging from musical to athletic talents.

There really isn't a "typical" Cornell students. Of course, everyone who attends is a good student and works hard in their classes. However, one of the reasons I wanted to go to Cornell is because of the diversity among the students. I've been attending for less than a week, and I've already met people from New York, California, Hawaii, Canada, India, Korea, Europe, and everywhere in between. True to the founder's words, Cornell is a university where "any person can find instruction in any study."

However, there is also a lively party scene on the weekends if you are over 21 and choose to participate ;) Cornell is a beautiful campus and has many places to walk or run if you like.
