Student, First Assembly Christian School, Class of 2016,
The typical First Assembly Christian School student is in three different categories due to our medium class size. There are those who are known for something other than academics, like sports, those who are middle of the line and clearly well-rounded, and those who are known primarily for academics. Nothing is wrong with any one of these and it is nice to know everyone falls in their own categories and fits in. I happen to be one of the students primarily known for academics, always in AP classes, and at the top of my class. I have been at FACS for the past 15 years and will graduate from there this Spring. I think a person who likes to know the names of every single person in their grade should go to FACS. However, one who does not mind not intimately knowing each person in their grade will fit right in. Our average class size is around 75 so it is small enough to not get lost but big enough to always find a friend. That is why I love FACS, you can always find someone that is the perfect friend but have a big group of friends as well. Someone who identifies at this would be perfect for FACS.
