Kind, caring, ready to learn, respectable; everyone tries to help each other. The typical student is also involved, studious, and respects others.

You can't generalize all of the students from Cocalico into a single type of person. We have a variety of interests, although hunting is perhaps more popular than in more urban areas. The one thing that nearly every student shares is a sense of community. Cocalico is a small school in a small area, and everyone knows everyone. We may all look different, like different subjects, and enjoy different activities, but we are a tight-knit group. A person who attends Cocalico should be used to the smell of manure several times a year, but should also expect to attend the football games, pep rallies and spirit nights. They should be aware that when a student dies, the entire class comes together to grieve and remember their lost friend. Most importantly, anyone who attends Cocalico should be the type of person who can set goals and work hard, but have fun with their friends and community.
