FIrst, going back to school is a great accomplishment so feel proud of yourself for taking this step. You will likely have to explain those F grades to a new college as the admissions department will want to feel confident that you can succeed the second time around. There are two things you can do to help your case:
1) Re-take these classes (or a similar class) at a community college and aim for an A or B.
2) Write a letter of support as to what went wrong and how you have made steps to change the situation.
Either or both of these options will let an admissions officer know that you are ready to make education a priority and/or are at a point in life where you have the opportunity to be successful. One thing to avoid is a list of excuses. Provide a reason, but not an excuse. For example, if you had to work 30 hours a week to make ends meet and that took away from your studies, just say that. Working during college is a reality for most. If you simply weren't motivated, say that. Honesty can go a long way.
I hope that helps!
