In my opinion, a lazy and antisocial student would not enjoy going to Kent State. There is a lot of walking and hills involved in the trek to a class that can sometimes be a far walk in a limited amount of time. Furthermore, someone who does not enjoy engaging with other students socially would not enjoy attending this university due to its wide selection of clubs, sports, and doming options on campus. The clubs and sports play an active role around campus by constantly interacting with the student body in various ways and providing a good social outlet. The various dorm options around campus each encourage socialization between residents through Inter hall Council, holiday events, and various other activities throughout the year.

The type of student who should not attend Kent State University at Kent are the ones who just don't care. They don't care that they are wasting their money or time. You need to be assertive in what you do and if you don't go to class or do the work you are the type of student who should not be going to Kent State.

Although it may sound cheesy, I honestly can not describe characteristics of one who should not attend Kent State University-Kent Campus because it is such an open and accepting school. While walking on campus during the middle of the day one is sure to encounter several different groups of people and despite their differences, you receive a sense of togetherness in which they all belong. All the differences in each other is what makes Kent State, Kent State. Similar to the "Melting Pot theory", Kent State would be the melting pot, whereas all the culturally different people are what is put in it. We all have different backgrounds and voices, but together is what shapes our university. So saying that, there isn't a type of student that does not belong at Kent State, rather, all are accepted and welcomed here.

Students that like things kept the same way, and students that are timid to put themselves out there should not attend Kent State. Kent has a plethora of vast resources to be taken advantage of, but that is all they are. Resources. If someone does not want to make an effort to utilize these resources, then Kent will not be chasing after them to get them to try things. Events on campus that are worth checking out are happening pretty much daily, but some people still find comfort in sitting in their dorm and watching movies. And honestly, that is just fine. But I feel like these students could be doing that anywhere, and at Kent they should be taking advantage of the many opportunities provided.

The only type of student who should not attend Kent State University at Kent campus is one who would not feel comfortable with a large sized university, although, each area of study tends to be concentrated in a specific area of campus. The overall size of our campus is large even though it is located in a small town. I do feel if a student who was not sure of their comfort level at a university the size of Kent State at Kent would give the campus a chance, they would find that even though it is large, our community is welcoming and comfortable.

Students who are unwilling to put in effort or who have a difficult time with managing activities should not come to Kent State University. There is a lot of work involved in the classes, and those unwilling to put in effort should not attend here. Students who are searching to have all fun with no work will be disappointed if they come here as well. Kent State University is all about working and earning your degree.

The types of people who would avoid considering Kent State are the kinds of people who are only interested in getting a decent education. Students that only wish to slack off shouldn't come either. Please just give me money, I can't afford KSU, or anything, and I'm sad and gay at all times.

The type of student who should not attend Kent is the type who is not willing to open their mind and let all sorts of new ideas flow in. I would not recommend Kent State to a close-minded individual who does not want to experience new things

The types of students that may not enjoy Kent State University at Kent would be someone who doesn't enjoy to walk around a large campus and someone who feels more comfortable with knowing most of their classmates. Kent is a very large campus, but I think that gives each student more opportunities to fit in.

If you feel like giving up every time the journey gets hard.. Kent State will challenge what you know and think. The key is being open minded to new people and ways of thinking. You have to know who you are before coming to Kent State. Finally if you do not have the mindset to keep pushing, you will fall.

There really is no type of student that should not attend Kent State. But if there was a type I would say if you're not an outgoing person and don't like to mingle with people then you should not attend. Kent State is about meeting new people every day. The campus is filled with 20,000+ students.
