Student, Gulf Coast State College, Class of 2015,
- Go to the beach when it's below 90 degrees of course
- Hike at the Mariana caverns on weekends with the pups

We hang out in the courtyard, study in the library, or attend functions put on by the student government.
When you pull up to my school the first thing you will notice is the bay next to it. In the bay you will notice kayaks. Students buy, borrow or rent these whenever they are able. Kayaking is fun, easy, and cheap once you own a kayak.
An even cheaper and simpler pastime is visiting the beach. Students can be found swimming, sunbathing, or just 'chilling out'. This can be limited, however; we are spring break central and it is usually best to avoid the mobs during that time of year.
A lesser known, but also popular, activity at GCSC is geeking. If you look carefully you will find references to Doctor Who, The Avengers, even lesser known anime fandoms on backpacks, t-shirts and keychains in almost every classroom. My school loves a good show, and they aren't shy about sharing. The students at Gulf Coast are open, honest and active.
The top three things students do for fun at Gulf Coast State College are to adventure around and find great places to eat, visit all the areas attractions, and enjoy the location of the college itself.

I am a member of the Spanish club we host fun community service events within the community. We hold trivia in the cafeteria for prizes. We have carnival day every so often which is a blast for the students, and for their friends and families.
