Located in the city of Chicago, just a 35 min train ride to the Loop; small school size makes it easier to build connections with faculty and other students; good programs for nursing, biblical studies, and music.

  1. It's a melting pot of diversity. Not just the campus itself but the neighborhood that surrounds it - there are so many cultures living in this area. There's always a new restaurant to try or a cultural event to go to. If you like to experience different cultures, it's a good place to be.
  2. The respect and friendliness shown by the faculty and students is something I've not experienced on any other campus. The first time I walked around the NP campus, I felt so very welcome. I knew I belonged there from that first step through the door and I imagine every other student that is attending NP felt that same exact way.
  3. North Park is invested in their students' success. Every professor that I have had to date has been absolutely amazing and engaged in their students' wellbeing and progress - not only in their own class, but your other classes, as well. It's encouraging to have professors who actively take an interest in what they teach and as a student, you can't help but WANT to go to school when you have that kind of support.

  1. Great job placement after college. The best part about north park is that most of the professors know people that their students can talk to after they gradate to get a job right away. making life a lot easier in the long run.
  2. Smaller classes, meaning you can bond better with your classmates and get to know people more than is a lager school.
  3. Great professor-student relationships. The professors have a good open door policy with students and can talk with them about anything and makes for a better leaning environment for everyone.

It's a small campus and easy to get around; everyone knows each other. The teachers are incredibly amazing at getting you interested in topics you never though you would care about...and maintaining that interest! The school is putting a lot of money into new buildings, like the new science center, providing its students with a lot of resources to enhance our education
