The three most popular extracurricular activities at FHS are the following: FFA/Showing/Judging, FCA, and Athletics. Florence is a small town with lots of people living in the country instead of in town. With this, means that most of the students live on ranches, farms, or have access to land. What's on land? Animals of course, so most of the FHS students either deal with animals on a daily basis or their families do. Our AG department is awesome so most of the students are in an AG class. Since our AG teachers work really hard at giving all of us great opportunities to do something that we are good at, we tend to do just that. We love AG/FFA/Showing/Judging at FHS. Next up is FCA. Fellowship of Christian Athletes is awesome and so much fun at our school. We meet every Friday morning and get breakfast. Sure the food lures plenty, but I think that they ability to get to share our stories with our peers keeps us interested. Not to mention we like to worship together and aren't afraid to take a stand for Jesus!. Finally athletics! We have an awesome NEW athletic director that keeps us excited and ready to compete. We are learning at FHS that we deserve to win! Winning hasn't come easy to the Florence Buffs, but each and every day we're learning that winners are made and we are becoming the type of students that want and like to win. So I can say that FHS is an awesome place to attend school. There are plenty of activities for us, the students to do. We are a small 3A school but we have our share of awesomeness!

Cheer, Football, and student council. I would recommend cheer because you get to travel and meet a lot of people. Coaches are always pushing us to do better. We learn about different sports and get to create a lifetime bond with other girls.
