Student, The International School of the Americas, Class of 2017,
A typical student at ISA is a global citizen. Our teachers push us to be globally aware and think about the world in a broader sense than most kids in high school would. We try our best to help our community and change what we can for the better. However, almost everyone at ISA is known for procrastinating. It's actually a running joke that even my sister who graduated from ISA in 2012 can laugh at. ISA is a community of globally aware kids who tend to procrastinate but get the job done. I would say the type of person who should attend ISA is a person willing to grow, work hard, learn, and collaborate with class mates. To go to ISA you should probably be able to handle 10+ hour bus rides across the continental U.S, as we take class trips every year to supplement our learning outside of the class room.
