The University is small and tight-knit, but we also have a large number of students who come from all over the world and have a variety of interests. There are many different clubs and activities to attend. And the Dixie only recently became a University, so there will be many new degree plans coming in the near future. Also, the weather and the beautiful surrounding red mountains.

They have wonderful teachers that want to help you succeed, there are many ways to get involved in the community in all the different service clubs the students have made and offer, and it's a small school with one on one help when needed.

The first reason is for the great degrees and programs that Dixie offers and we are a growing school that is in the process of adding new degrees. The second is for the activities. Southern Utah is a jokers paradise. There are a lot of things to do outside. It is a beautiful place The third is tuition is on the lower side compared to a lot of other universities.

Dixie State University is the cheapest University. At Dixie there is small class sizes, I have never been in a class that had more then thirty students and classes are at all times of the day so you can have a time that works for you as well as online classes. Tuition is decent for being the largest college in the city. The location is amazing especially if you like to be outdoors. There so much nearby - two large reservoirs, state parks, national parks, all the hiking and biking trails anyone could want. For the area Dixie has the most variety in degrees and programs offered.

At dixie we get university level work but the upside is that the instructors are very personal since the classes are small, which make material easier to understand. There is many resources for students like tutors that always have time for you. The students are focused and all about business and that rubs off on you and I found myself using that as motivation to work harder for my goals.

The top three reasons someone should attend Dixie State University are first, the affordability. Financing college can be discouraging, but at Dixie, there are many financial aid options that alleviate the pressure of worrying about money. Students at Dixie don't have to worry about money as much as other colleges making Dixie a relaxing atmosphere where students can devote themselves to their studies, graduate faster, and create a realistic balance in their lives. The second reason someone should choose Dixie State is the small class sizes. It is easy to feel lost and unimportant in extremely large class sizes at other universities, but at Dixie students receive a personalized education with class sizes of forty or less. Because the class sizes are smaller compared to larger universities, professors have more time and availability to meet with students and help them succeed in school and later, in their careers. The third and final reason someone should choose DSU is because DSU cares about education. Never has an institution cared so much about helping its students succeed. Dixie State University realizes that they are acting as a stepping-stone to your future. The professors can become your greatest ally when applying to graduate school or for future jobs. In each class, students walk away with not only a better understanding of the subject they are studying, but professors act as a network to help students further their careers. When students graduate from Dixie State University, they walk away with many network contacts and friends that will help make their next step into their future.

1) The tuition is very cheap for how good of an education you receive. 2) The faculty is very open and wants the students to succeed. 3) The social life makes all the hard work worth it.
