One extracurricular activity that is very popular is the hispanic voices club, which is something I am a part of. It is for students who are hispanic but you can also bring students who aren't hispanic, so they are able to learn hispanic culture. Another club is the debate club. This club is for people who are very interested in being a lawyer or a judge. Another club that is very welcoming that I would recommend is the Green and Gold Club. The GAGC is a club where juniors & seniors are used as mentors for the freshman for their whole school year. The freshman can come to them with any questions or concerns they must have when going through their first year of high school.

Sports, band, and class council are most popular. I would recommend playing a sport if it's your thing. It's great to be a part of a team. You can make a lot of friends that you normally would not meet if you weren't on a team.

The three most popular extracurricular activities are sports (especially football, soccer, basketball and baseball), theatre productions (including the fall play and spring musical), and student-governing bodies such as class councils and student government. I recommend joining the speech and debate club because it provides valuable public speaking experience, as well as cultivates research and presentation skills in students. I also believe that involvement in class council or student government is helpful for students because it gives them a chance to meet new people in their class as well as contribute to the class t-shirt and homecoming hallway.
