The typical Walla Walla University student was very certain in high school. They may not have been certain about what they wanted to study or do in the next five to ten years, but they were certain in their roles as humans on this planet. Walla Walla University students have natural affinities to serving others in any way they possibly can, whether it be through missionary work, tutoring, fundraising for aid, community service, etc. In high school, these students were active in their communities and their passion for life was visible. WWU students are nothing if not passionate. While not all may believe in Christ, all believe in the beauty of the world around us. WWU is a community of young, like-minded individuals who want to help leave this world a more beautiful place.

The average Walla Walla student is fun to be around, generally friendly, and hardworking. Here at Walla Walla University, we definitely put a huge effort into our education. We make sure we're taking care of ourselves, with a gym that's actually enjoyable to go to and a cafeteria that actually has healthy food (salad bar and sushi for the win!). Walla Walla University is an Adventist University, and therefore many students affiliate with the Adventist church, however, not all do.
