The cost of a community college is the main deciding factor for most, being half of what a regular four year degree school would cost. SCF is definitely a no brainer. Another reason itv is so cheap is location if you live here that is and even if you don't SCF has very well placed multiple schools to get most of sarasota county! There are two main campuses (bradenton and venice) and then there is lakewood ranch my favorite of the three campuses. One might think that being a small community college we would have no resources but surprisingly we have a wealth of help in multiple areas.
