Which 3 extracurricular activities at The International School of the Americas are most popular? Which extracurriculars would you recommend?

1.) The most popular extra curricular activity by a landslide is Model United Nations San Antonio. At ISA we host the largest Model United Nations conference in the western U.S! It's a big deal and everyone at ISA gets involved. The Juniors and Seniors make-up the co-chairs (like me) and secratariet (organize conference); while the Freshman are in Press Corps. and the Sophomores are part of the Delegation. This event takes a lot of planning in and out of school to put on and every year we choose a charity organization to raise money for and donate to at the end of the conference. 2.) The second most popular extra curricular activity at ISA is Astronomy Club. I am not personally involved in Astronomy Club currently but I plan to join next year because it seems like a cool way to learn new things and hang out with friends. At bi-weekly meetings the physics teacher Mr. Polito discusses astronomical theories and finding with the club members. The kids in Astronomy club also sell t-shirts and go on an annual trip (ISA Star Party 2015) to observe the stars and discuss them over a fun weekend in the spring. 3.) The third most popular activity at ISA is Interact Club. Service is a big deal at ISA (intact we set aside an entire school day dedicated to service projects) which explains why Interact Club is really big here. We are required by ISA to complete 120 hours of service before we graduate so a lot of kids use the the Interact opportunities to complete their service along with NHS members. Some of the service Interact does include things like the San Antonio Zoo Boo, Christmas gift wrapping, helping at charity 5ks, and a lot more.
