A typical student at MICA tends to be strong minded, creative, and driven to do their very best. I've never met an uncreative or lazy MICA student. I also find that most students at MICA are incredibly supportive of their other students. Everyone is at a different skill level and they bring different experiences to the classes, and these skills are often happily shared and help support other student's growth!

A typical MICA student is able to think for themselves, interested in learning and not just showing what they already know, creative, able to take constructive criticism well, and always looking to improve themselves.

It's a very liberal campus, full of students with open minds and hearts to do arts! MICA is welcoming and accepting of all differences. You will see a lot of diversity of race, communities, religions, and personal beliefs.

Someone who attends MICA is often a person who works tirelessly because of a passion they hold for the arts. They are willing to stand out but also help others find their potential through collaboration. Their work effort shows through in a way that promises a very bright and colorful future for the Art world.
