What I find interesting about my life as a high school student is the fact I've never participated in what I consider the most popular extra curricular activities. It's not that I feel I'm too good to play for the volleyball team, or to be on student council, or to attend a prom committee meeting. It's not that I feel my time is worth more than those things, and I have a lot of respect for people who do participate in them. They've just never been a part of my life. Interact club, however, has. Interact club focuses on providing community service and developing leadership qualities in students and the meeting are one of the highlights of my week. Being the captain of the girl's golf team this year made me enjoy the sport even more the the past two years I'd played for the school. We aren't exactly the most popular sport at Chelsea High but we're a tight knit group of girls who are passionate about the game we play. And finally Students Leading Students is yet another club I am highly passionate about. SLS has a special place in my heart because it allows the students of Chelsea to help one another in ways the faculty can't.

At Chelsea High School, many students are involved in Key Club, FBLA, and sports. I would recommend both sports and Key Club because of the numerous community service options available and because of the strong bonds between students that can be created.
