Blindspot, a sort of variety show hosted by the Off-Stage Players drama club, is a popular option. It usually consists of musical acts, spoken word poetry, the occasional stand-up, and a few oddball acts like eating bread while taking off your shirt or dry-land synchronized swimming.
Pub Nights are a personal favorite. Sponsored by the Student Activities Committee, musicians, YouTubers, poets, and performance artists alike are invited to perform in the pub on campus. We've had acts such as poets Neil Hilborn and Lauren Zuniga, musicians like Home Free, and comedy-poets CoMeTrY.
Hanging out and ordering cream cheese cheesebread from Pizza Daddy is always a good option. Some nights it's the conversations that continue into the wee hours of the morning, the jokes that you can never remember why you laughed so hard at, and the pure, unadulterated, youthful ambitions and dreams that make college worth every minute.
