The type of student who should attend Central Piedmont Community College is a student that is determined to work and focus on what they need to get done. The student who goes here needs to be a student who realizes that, yes, there are many teachers and counselors around that want to help their students to succeed, but they will not hold your hand and be on you like some high school teachers are with their students. Here at this school you need to know how to take the initiative. This means that you need to say that you need help and you need to know what help you need and you need to make sure that you show up at the times when the teachers say that they are able to help you. Students need to realize that the teachers won't bail on them if they don't bail on their teachers, but if they act like they are not serious, the teachers will treat them as such.

The type of student that should go to Central Piedmont Community College is a student who is determined, dedicated, and disciplined. There are many community colleges in the United States, however Central Piedmont is a good choice for a determined student because statistically it is one of the best community colleges in the country. If this student is a part-time student, their time for studying and such can be limited, considering the student might be a single parent or work a full-time job to pay for school. If this student is full-time, and they are taking more than 3 courses, their attention should be focused on their classes. There are projects, research projects, essays, and homework for example that this student has to focus on if they are going to dedicate themselves to earning a degree. The type of student that attends Central Piedmont Community College is the focused, regardless.
