The top reason is academics. The nursing program is one of the best on the east side. The openness on campus is great too. You can be who you are and feel welcomed. It also opens up a lot of opportunities to students.

It is small, so it feels like you are in a huge family instead just one person in a large environment. The athletics are great. Football has been division champs 4 years in a row. Soccer has won the division championship and the lacrosse program is really good also. Its is a fun school and everyone is very nice and welcoming.

The top three reasons i believe someone should attend Lenoir-Rhyne University are the size of the school, the people who attend and the importance of education. Due to the smaller setting of the school, some students find it is more inviting and less intimidating. The student to teacher ratio is also better due to smaller class sizes which promotes better learning. The people who attend LRU are also friendly and truly do look out for each other. Everyone here wants to have a good time, however we all understand the importance of a solid education. From the Professors to the Coaches to even the Dean, education is first and they always keep your best interest in mind. "Go Bears!"
