1.) Class sizes are very small compared to universities; the average class size ranges between fifteen and thirty students. Therefore, it is perfect for students who seek to get a taste of college experience without the daunting prospective of jumping straight into a full-fledged university. 2.) As a result of the class sizes, most instructors manage to devote varying degrees of personal attention to their students. They have often assisted struggling students who were on the verge of flunking their classes. In fact, the instructors that I have had all encouraged their students to e-mail them if they encountered any difficulties associated with their classes. 3.) The nursing program at NEMCC is considered to be the premier nursing program in the state of Mississippi. From what I have heard and read, it has a very rigorous curriculum that pushes its students to go above and beyond the tedium of their everyday lives and study as they have never experienced. Therefore, I would definitely recommend someone to attend NEMCC if that person had designs on becoming a registered nurse in a very competitive, academically challenging environment.
