The campus is compact, easy to get around. Excellent school, the classes are not overly large and the professors actually teach and care about the students. The UW system is excellent, AND the Warhawks have excellent sports teams and are super fun to watch.

I largely believe the college depends on the person. For me, Whitewater felt like home. It still does. I wake up with a smile on my face and I know no matter what, today will be a good day. For prospective students, you should attend for these three reasons: 1. We're a family here.

You will never be alone. Someone will always seek you out to be friends or a companion or lend a hand. I know I was skeptical of this prospect at first, but after being here a few months, I feel like I have a family here as well.

 2. It feels like home

I walk down the sidewalks everyday with a smile. I call this place my home, not where I grew up. I feel free to be myself in this environment. It truly has become my home.

 3. Opportunity

There's no way not to be involved in something at Whitewater. There's at least two dozen clubs, sports teams, intramural sports teams, musical ensembles, fraternities, sororities, and much more. What ever you choose to join, it's guaranteed that you'll succeed and you'll find a family and friends along the way.

The top 3 reasons that someone should attend the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater are as follows: if you are a music or business major, enjoy small towns and a close-knit community, and enjoying partying then you should attend "U-Dub-Dub!"

You should attend UW-Whitewater not just for our high reputation for good sports, nor the our highly caring staff, teachers and professors, but also for the way Whitewater tries to save you money by having a one of a kind college book rental service!

I would say there are more than 3 reasons to attend to this college. One of the most important reasons its because of the way we are treated, they are always there to help you in a very nice way. Second, professors are always more than happy to help. Last but not least I consider it a very safe place.

UWW has an excellent accreditation. They are also close to Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago. Lastly, they are known for their business school but aren't quite as hard to get into as UW Madison.

The top three reasons someone should attend the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is because we have many different majors, minors, and emphasis' to choose from. The top three reasons that I believe a person should attend UW-Whitewater is the amount of success that their sports organizations have had, it is located in a smaller community, allowing a person to feel safer and more comfortable with the people around them, and the wonderful professors and smaller classroom sizes allow for a better learning environment. UW-Whitewater has an abundant amount of success in their various varsity sports teams. The football team has won six of the last eight national championships, the men's basketball team won the national championship last year, the men's wheelchair basketball team has won the national championship this year and in 2011, and the women's wheelchair basketball team has won two years in a row. The other sports at UW-Whitewater have also had success and seeing these events are a blast. The university is located in Whitewater which is only about 15,000 people. I grew up in a city of 12,000 and attending UW-Whitewater would make me feel a bit more at home. Living in a smaller city, people are more kind and compassionate towards each other compared to a bigger city like Milwaukee or Madison. If a person is from a larger city and likes larger cities, Milwaukee or Madison is only an hour drive. The final reason I believe someone should attend UW-Whitewater is the learning environment. All of the professors I have had are very helpful and know how to teach. Most of the classrooms are of a smaller size, so more individual help is available, so a person isn't left in the wind or stuck in a hundred person lecture hall. A person should attended UW-Whitewater because its sports organizations have had great success, Whitewater has a comforting, homey feeling due to its smaller size, and it has wonderful professors that teach smaller class sizes.

I love the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and believe that it has a lot to offer. The first reason I believe someone should attend this University is because the school offers all kinds of academic help to ensure students succeed. There is a whole building dedicated to free academic tutoring. You can receive help in any subject you need assistance with and it is all for free! There is even a writing lab that proof reads your papers for you and helps you perfect them. The second reason I believe someone should attend the University is because of how small of a school it is. It is nice to attend a small school because this means the classes are smaller and the professor is able to pay more attention to individaul students. Being at a small school makes it easier to develop a professional relationship with your professor. The third reason I believe students should attend this University is because we are a very involved school. We have such a large variety of different groups and clubs students can join to be involved on campus and we also host different fairs such as the involvement fair or the job fair on campus to ensure students are involved on campus.

The top three reasons I chose was to keep my education in the UW system (my undergrad is from UW - Platteville), the cost was lower than comparable Master's programs, and the reputation of the program I am entering.

Teacher and student connection strong. They really are working to invest in your future. I have not had a bad experience with any teacher, adviser, or even a student worker for that matter. All things that have been said about this is school is great. They truly apply their mission statement.

The top three reasons are their major (education or business (usually)), to be some what close to home (but not too close) and because it is such a beautiful campus.

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is a great school to ensue my business degree. There are not many schools that compete with the success of this school, and education always comes first.

One of the reasons someone should attend UW-W is because the teachers there focus on trying to help you out. I have not had one professor yet whose goal wasn't to help you succeed. Another reason someone should attend UW-W is because there are always opportunities for a student to expand their knowledge in areas that they may not know much about through join clubs or intramural sports. Finally, the last reason that I think someone should attend UW-W is because the people there are great! Staff, teachers, student workers, everyone!

UW-Whitewater has a tremendous Business school, so anyone going to school for any business-related degree should check it out. The athletic teams are excellent and have won many championships, if school pride is your thing. And the facilities are nice, including the gym and academic buildings.

One reason is because textbooks are free so it is one less thing to worry about financially! Another reason is because it is a medium size school so the number of students in a class is relatively small and it is easier to get to know your professors. The third reason is because there are so many different clubs and they offer many different intermural sports so it is easy to get involved and find something you like that other people like as well.
