High school is an opportunity to gain good knowledge. I recommend self-education. The student should be able to use all the possibilities of the Internet and auxiliary literature. This site papersbattle.com is very indicative. I think that writing an essay is very important now.

  1. Support our peers at the Blair School of Music and in other performing arts groups on campus.
  2. Go out and explore the vibrant nightlife of Nashville.
  3. Head over to the frats.

At Vanderbilt, people have fun in so many different ways. We have SO much fun rooting for our National Championship winning Commodore baseball team and showing up for our football team, who we know will have success soon! We have fun as a community - whether we are part of the performing arts, sciences, athletics, greek or other student organizations. We also have fun doing philanthropic service for others in Nashville.

listen to live music any day of the week, give back to the community games, support our other Commodores at sporting and fine arts events

  1. Enjoying the campus with friends - The most common sight at Vanderbilt is that of a group of friends sitting on the lawn or under the shade of one of our majestic trees, delighting in the fresh air and beauty of the Vanderbilt campus. Vanderbilt is a national arboretum, and the flora is gorgeous no matter the season. These trees and flowers form natural boundaries to our sweeping green lawns, where students will often lay upon after a day of classes. Vanderbilt buildings are built in a modernized roman style, with long columns and white limestone arches, providing shade and lounge area for students.

  2. Looking for the full college experience - A.K.A. Partying! It's not all drugs and alcohol though - Vanderbilt students understand moderation and are usually just looking for a night of dancing and music and excitement with their friends.

  3. Anything they want - As the "Happiest Students in America" for the second year running, Vanderbilt students know that the best thing to do for fun is what they enjoy the most. One reason we are so happy is because there is no judgment towards anybody's hobbies. From zip-lining to crocheting, all interests are welcome at Vanderbilt, and rarely will a student find themselves lacking an interested group of friends.

Vanderbilt University is unique in that there is such a diverse population of students with such a wide range of interests and hobbies. However, I definitely think dancing would have to be in the top three. Each year we host a 'Dance Marathon' to raise money for our local children's hospital, which is a huge event. In addition, we always have different dance performances and cultural festivals where dance plays a major role. The second thing I'd say Vanderbilt students do for fun is philanthropic work. For one, over 40% of our population is a part of Greek Life, and each fraternity/sorority takes part in a local and national philanthropy. Needless to say, these are big events on our campus. Furthermore, a Vanderbilt Student is never far from a service opportunity. We offer a wide variety of philanthropy clubs supporting various causes, and Alternative Spring Break/Alternative Winter Break (where students take go on a week long community service trip) are also a very popular choice. The third thing I'd say Vanderbilt Students do for fun is sports. Whether recreational or competitive, Vanderbilt definitely offers more than enough options for someone to get involved in physical activities. We have a newly renovated recreational center which houses basketball courts, racquetball courts, soccer fields, and so much more. We take great pride in our competitive sports as well! Our football team may not have been the best in recent years, but our students still continue to fervently support all our athletes. And, of course, we are the National Champions in Baseball!:)

Vanderbilt is just steps away from downtown, and is in a rich part of Nashville. One of the many perks would be the abundance of different restaurants and Vanderbilt students can be found at one of the many coffeeshops and restaurants all around Nashville. On the weekends, there is a lot to do, but one of the local favorites would definitely be Lonnie's Karaoke bar. Your career at Vanderbilt isn't complete without belting some tunes in front of a bunch of strangers. When we're not eating or exploring downtown, we're attending concerts. Nashville isn't known as Music City for no reason! There are top artists in town every weekend, and spectacular underground artists performing everynight.

At vanderbilt university Divinity school, my favorite things we students do for collective fun is our weekly coffee hour where we make organizational announcements and get time to socialize, our numerous worship services that are always engaging and uplifting for all members, and the relevant protest rallies that we use to voice injustices and unite our community.
