Someone should attend the University of Colorado Colorado Springs if they are wanting to be surrounded by a breathtaking view of the mountains. Being minutes away from Pikes Peak allows students to see the peak from their classroom window; gives them the opportunity to hike up it in the summer, or explore Garden of the Gods, or take on a challenge and master The Incline. Other reasons could be that UCCS has one of the top ranked engineering programs in the world, and we also offer a variety of graduate programs.

This university have a vast amount of helpful staff. They always make time for you and have your best interest in mind. This school is also not a huge university. This is a plus because class sizes are smaller so you get more one on one interaction with the professors here. Finally this is a great school to attend because of the sense of family and inclusion here. You can join any club or class without the fear of not being included.

First of all, Colorado Springs is beautiful and the view of Pikes Peak is breath taking. Everywhere you go in Colorado Springs you see beauty. The college has a center for every subject so it's easy to get help when you need it. Even the professors here are wonderful, they want you to succeed and will push you to be the best. I think that's important, to have professors who believe in you through the whole experience.

The top threes reasons someone should attend the University of Colorado Colorado Springs are its size, its resources, and its location. UCCS is in my opinion the perfect size. Most classes have less than 50 students in them allowing students to receive more help and attention from professors when needed while still providing them with the same experiences of a larger university; sports, events, clubs, amazing resources. Every semester I spend here I learn more and more about the helpful resources our campus provides us with, one I most recently came across is the writing center. The writing center is a place students can go when seeking help with all writing assignments at any stage in their writing process. Last and definitely not least is the location of UCCS. Not only are we lucky enough to have an unbeatable view of the Rocky Mountains and Pike's Peak but the University's location within the city of Colorado Springs is perfect. There are several neighborhoods within walking distance of the campus for students to live in and being only 15 minutes away from downtown is a huge selling point. With this being said we are also extremely close to incredible trails and parks such as Garden of the Gods and have dozens of trails on campus to enjoy in between classes as well.
