A typical UAT student is a nerd and geek with a passion for computers, games, movies, and any kind of technology. If you are the type of person that is considered a computer geek, with a passion for anything nerdy, then you are defiantly the type of person that should be attending the University of Advancing Technology.

In my experience most are quite tech savvy. Not the most technical of levesl but to the point where they have the a solid grasp of what they are getting into.

Here at UAT the students are quite unique. We will spend most our time glued to a computer screen and love every minuet of it. Lets face it, The University of Advancing Technology is full of a whole bunch of... Nerds. If you're looking for a place to study anything from Game Design to Cyber Security, UAT has the student life equipped for just that. I take pride in the environment here because we all understand that school is important and so is accepting people for who they are. That's what it means to be a UAT student, to connect with your peers to create and innovate.

Here at the University of Advancing Technology, we recognize the importance of geek culture. The students the attend here all very geek-centric. This means we all have a high level of interest in something that makes us a "geek". For example we have heavy gamers (online, console and campaign), movie buffs, anime watchers, etc. And each persons interests usually goes hand in hand with their major.
